Lakeer’s Story:

After Partition in 1947, Abdul Hameed, the elder son of Hakim Majeed, remained in Delhi to manage his father’s clinic, preserving the legacy of Hamdard in India. Meanwhile, Hakim Majeed's younger son, Hakim Saeed, a passionate advocate of the Pakistan Movement, moved to Karachi on January 9, 1948. There, he began a new chapter for Hamdard Pakistan by renting a two-room clinic in the Arambagh area of Karachi.

By 1953, Hamdard expanded its operations to Bangladesh
